We have extended all walk and meet vouchers by a year so please don’t worry if you have not yet redeemed your voucher. We aim to be open for small household group walks in Spring 2021 and will be updating the website with details as soon as we have a clearer picture.
Come and meet the animals and take a guided walk with an alpaca among the farm fields. We specialise in small, relaxed walks that give you a chance to get to know your alpaca and find out why they are so special. The leisurely walk is about a mile long, along grass paths next to our fields. The total visit time is about an hour and a half. This includes a chat about the boys and their fibre and a chance to feed the alpacas.
The walk is suitable for adults or children that are 8 years old or over. Each alpaca booked includes one person leading with up to one adult or two children accompanying. Children over 8 and under 12 will lead their alpaca with the help of their adult.
If you have younger children, or would prefer not to walk around the farm, you can always choose the option to Meet the Alpacas. We will feed the boys by their shelter and then bring a couple out to meet you so that you can feel their fibre and get to know them.
All of our visitors have an opportunity to see our fleeces and the products that we make. We also send you away with a sample of alpaca fibre from the alpacas that you meet.
