To celebrate our local yarn show we have created two new crochet patterns that are free to our East Anglia Yarn Festival customers! Both can be used with our dk alpaca yarn or our 4ply and dk Shetland yarn and include tapestry crochet to create geometric patterns inspired by our local Suffolk countryside.
The Barley Beanie is inspired by the waving ears of barley that I love to see in the fields around us. The pattern uses two colours and you can choose any of our yarns in a colour contrast that you like. It also makes use of the slight slant that crocheting in the round can create to give the barley ears a nice ‘sharp’ finish.
The pattern can be downloaded below. We are very happy for you to sell items made using the pattern, we just ask that you credit Free Range Fibre. This is a new move into pattern making for us so feedback is very welcome and please do ask if anything needs clarification.
